Chapter History

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated - Omega Eta Zeta chapter was chartered on March 16, 2012, in Quincy, Massachusetts, marking a significant expansion of the sorority’s presence in Southeastern Massachusetts and the South Shore. Established through the vision, dedication, and leadership of Tara Axson, Alisha Benjamin, Joy Ajayi-Carrier, Shatara Grimsley, Olivia Thibou, and Patricia Timmons, the chapter was founded upon the enduring principles of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood that have guided Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated since its inception.
From its earliest days, Omega Eta Zeta has remained steadfast in its commitment to purposeful service and community advancement. The chapter has consistently engaged in initiatives designed to uplift and support the communities it serves, with a strong focus on educational advocacy, youth development, health and wellness awareness, and social consciousness. Through intentional programming, outreach efforts, and scholarship-related initiatives, Omega Eta Zeta has worked diligently to address community needs while promoting empowerment, access, and opportunity.
